# Template changes

This page lists all changes to the stock templates that are shipped with Zabbix.

When upgrading Zabbix, existing templates are not updated automatically to avoid overwriting custom modifications.
To upgrade templates or add new ones, see [Template upgrade](/manual/config/templates_out_of_the_box#template-upgrade).
