### Frontend improvements

### Daemon improvements

-   Value cache requests have been optimized to better utilize database
    indexes. The improvement would be mostly noticeable with large
    databases.
-   A new `EnableSNMPBulkRequests` configuration parameter has been
    added to Zabbix server/proxy to be able to disable (or enable) SNMP
    bulk requests globally.
-   Validation of received SNMP responses has been added to server and
    proxy. Now, upon receiving a malformed SNMP response server and
    proxy will log lines similar to the following:\

    `SNMP response from host "gateway" does not contain all of the requested variable bindings`
    While they do not cover all the problematic cases, they are a useful
    indicator that `EnableSNMPBulkRequests` [configuration
    parameter](/manual/appendix/config/zabbix_server) should be set to 0
    in order to disable SNMP bulk requests globally.
