# 1 Operação de templates do Zabbix agent

Etapas para garantir a operação correta de templates que coletam métricas com [Zabbix agent](/manual/concepts/agent):

1. Certifique-se de que o Zabbix agent esteja instalado no host. Para verificações ativas, certifique-se também de que o endereço do Zabbix server/proxy esteja adicionado ao parâmetro 'ServerActive' do [arquivo de configuração](/manual/appendix/config/zabbix_agentd#serveractive) do agent.
2. [Vincule](/manual/config/templates/linking#linking-a-template) o template a um host de destino (se o template não estiver disponível na sua instalação do Zabbix, talvez seja necessário primeiro [importar](/manual/config/templates_out_of_the_box#template-upgrade) o template).
3. Se necessário, ajuste os valores das macros do template.
4. Configure a instância monitorada para permitir o compartilhamento de dados com o
Zabbix.
